My honest opinion about a recent online order

Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes. I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. For things that I use every day, I prefer to pay a bit more if the quality is stable. Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones.

If a piece of jewelry keeps its color and does not irritate the skin, I consider it a win. Clear product descriptions save time and reduce the chance of disappointment. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers.
